Don’t be a Cyberbullying Yourself
- Don’t answer emails, messages which are sent from an unknown source for they can be a predator seeking for someone as their target. Leave the message alone or delete and report this to the sites website privacy and policy.
Online Accounts
- Don’t save passwords where people can find it and use it, log out of your account once you have finished using it as for your own safety. All no one to no even a slight clue of your password and do not forget to log out.
Before Posting
- Do not post anything that may hurt your reputation. People will judge you based on how you appear to them online. They will also give or deny you opportunities such as jobs, scholarships, internships based on any online issues. Stop and think before posting helps you to think it through first and think if it is a good idea to post it if not do not hit send.
Privacy Control
- Site such as Facebook have a Restrict access of your online profile to trusted friends and family only. Social network sites offer you the ability to share certain information with friends only, but these settings must be set in ordered to ensure protection.
Don’t be a Cyberbullying Yourself
- Treat others how you would want to be treated online and offline, post positive things about others and not there private and threating messages. By being a bully to others socially online is reinforcing the idea that the behavior is acceptable.
